Managing selected projects (or components of projects) for Water Mechanical team. Managing the production and verification of analysis and design, including drawings and reports, relating to projects. Taking responsibility for technical resource allocation, quality assurance and client feedback and ensuring effective communication of any changes/ modifications. Proactively engaging with various Arcadis Regional offices/ teams regarding safe design requirements, and flag risks at appropriate levels. Resolving issues and create strong relationships with project colleagues in the regions, evidenced through great feedback. Developing technical methodologies which add value to the scope from other Arcadis Regions, and guiding junior colleagues to do the same Reviewing work and drive the culture of checking and accountability in the team, including interdisciplinary checks Familiarization with client specific specifications, processes, and technical preferences. Proactively engaging and participating with the relevant Communities of Practice. Liaising and assisting the project manager to ensure commercial aspects relating to the design team can achieve a successful result. Developing plans and budgets for medium-size and / or complex tasks and monitor progress against these. Identifying opportunities and driving implementation of re-engineering strategies to maximize the value of design input. Working in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design. Providing technical advice to project team members. Handle multiple management responsibilities, overseeing the work and / or development of multiple colleagues working on complex projects in a single discipline. Design Health & Safety management for the project works. Software Expectations: Strong command of BIM / digital/data analytics software as applicable. Demonstrated delivery acumen. Experience in mechanical design, specifications, drawings and BIM models for medium to large scale projects related to, Water and Wastewater Treatment plants, Pumping stations and other related structures, Water and wastewater conveyance systems, Drainage systems, Flood protection facilities, Hydraulic design related to above including hydraulic calculations Surge analysis and pipeline surge mitigation preferable Knowledge/ experience in UK/ European water industry is preferable. Preparation of design input to Design Team and co-ordinate with other staff to prepare drawings. Liaison with other team members to produce good design solution as per best design practice. What You’ll Do Experience in Explosion proof/ Hazardous area electrical equipment’s. Evaluate customer drawings and specifications to determine solutions within Eaton’s standard products or ETO engineered-to-order in accordance with NEC or IEC/IECEx standards. Prepares a complete technical and commercial offer as per customer MR, specifications, data sheets, for equipment like (Panel boards, Switch racks, Enclosed circuit breakers, Motor starters, Local control stations, Junction box, and Lighting fixtures). Review and provide compliance to customer technical queries. Resolve project deviations to specifications and standards with customer. Prepares a detailed general arrangement drawing with complete bill of materials using AutoCAD or Esplan software. Prepares complete project documentation including data sheets, certificates, and procedures for customer approval. Set-up complete bill of materials in SAP as per customer approved drawings. Ensure materials availability by checking with material sourcing team. Coordinates with project management and production team for manufacturing activities. Coordinates with quality control for the required inspection test plan and close-out inspection punch list. Collates all documents to complete manufacturing record book for project close-out. Liaises with Client / Contractor / Subcontractor, also chases and aligns with Internal- and External Stakeholders for information. Preparing and Maintaining all Technical Submittal Familiarity on ITP, FAT QA& QC Documents etc. Familiarity of electrical products (Distribution Boards, Local control stations, Lighting Fixtures, Junction Box etc.) Experience with EPC Contractors like L&T, Saipem, Tecnicas Reunidas, NPCC, Petrofac, McDermott, Tecnimont, Linde, Samsung, Hyundai etc. Experience with End users like Aramco, ADNOC, KNPC, KOC, QP, SABIC, Qatar Gas, Qatar Energy Qualifications 4 -7 Years or experience Bachelor’s degree (Electrical/ Electronics Engineering) from an accredited institution Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work independently as well as in a team environment. JOB DESCRIPTION Position : - Manager - MEP Location : - Hyderabad Project: - HillCrest Township (All Phases) – Responsible for all phases ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES • Analyzing MEP designs and plans. • Thorough study of drawings and raising timely RFI. • Follow up for the drawings, material and decisions. • Planning & Coordination with MEP consultant and CPP team. • Preparing Quantities, BOQ, making C.S with technical specifications and budgeting. • Ensuring timely raising of PR/SR. • Follow up with contractor/vendor for required material, manpower, equipment etc. • Coordination between different contractors and agencies to maintain the project speed at site. • Contractor’s material cross verification for quality and quantity before start of the activities and whenever or wherever required. • End to End coordination of MEP project Execution like Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Firefighting, BMS etc. • Discussing the practical problems faced during execution with project team and help to finding a suitable solution to project team. • To assist for preparing necessary R.A bills and Final bills as per the work executed on site. • Check any rectifications of the work pointed by consultants. • Prepare sang list & clearing the sang points for handover from contractor. • To follow company’s safety norms, procedures and to report incident to safety department. • To check safety of MEP contractors • Ensuring all designs meet industry standards and government regulations • Researching and inquiring about different materials • Communicating Project Status and completion timelines to the Concern Heads • Maintaining drawing register • Up to date record of Documents / Documentation control • Reduce the no of repetitions due to quality workmanship errors KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATOR • Drawing study & raising RFI • To ensure checking of MEP works • Anticipating the delay due to material, manpower, quality, safety and raising alerts to P.H/reporting officer well in advance • Reconciliation & Wastage Control • Punctuality in work allotted by P.H/H.O.
