Dispatcher

Role Overview: The Dispatcher plays a key role in coordinating and managing the timely and accurate dispatch of food orders (bulk/staff meals) from the kitchen to designated client locations or internal outlets. This role requires attention to detail, clear communication, strong coordination with kitchen, delivery partners, and the operations team, and the ability to work under pressure. Key Responsibilities: Dispatch & Order Management: Coordinate daily dispatch schedules and route plans based on client orders and kitchen output. Verify order accuracy (quantity, packaging, labeling) before dispatch. Tag and organize food containers as per client or route. Ensure orders are dispatched on time to meet strict delivery timelines. Team Coordination: Act as the link between the kitchen staff, delivery executives, and operations team. Communicate any delays, shortages, or changes in orders proactively. Ensure that all delivery personnel understand their routes, timelines, and delivery instructions. Inventory & Documentation: Maintain dispatch logs (manual/digital) – time out, delivery executive name, order ID, client name, etc. Check availability of dispatch materials like labels, crates, cling film, bags, etc. Report and document missed orders, damages, or client complaints. Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all dispatched items are properly sealed, labeled, and meet quality and hygiene standards. Monitor the cleanliness and organization of the dispatch area. Adhere to food safety protocols during handover and transport stages. Required Skills & Qualifications:1–2 years of experience in dispatch or delivery coordination, preferably in a food service or QSR setup. Basic knowledge of logistics, delivery apps/platforms, and route planning. Ability to read and interpret order sheets (in English/Hindi). Familiarity with food handling protocols and packaging materials. Calm and organized, especially during rush hours. Basic computer knowledge (Excel, dispatch logs, or mobile apps) is an advantage.
