Dev Ops Engineer Azure Experience

DevOps with 6-8 years of experience to drive automation, infrastructure management, and CI/CD implementation. Azure Experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud platforms, containerisation, and monitoring tools, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.The purpose of this role is to provide technical guidance and suggest improvements in development processes. Develop required software features, achieving timely delivery in compliance with the performance and quality standards of the company. Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployment. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation . Work with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP to optimize infrastructure. Manage Kubernetes/Docker environments for scalable application deployment. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog . Ensure security best practices, including IAM, network security, and vulnerability management . Collaborate with developers to optimize build and deployment processes. Improve system reliability through Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles . Automate and streamline IT operations for improved efficiency. Required Skills & Experience: 6-8 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Automation, or SRE . Hands-on expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI . Strong experience in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts for container orchestration. Deep knowledge of Azure required, AWS or Google Cloud infrastructure services. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation . Knowledge of scripting/programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go . Strong understanding of networking, load balancing, and security best practices . Experience in log management and monitoring (e.g., ELK, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana). Exposure to incident response and disaster recovery strategies . Additional responsibilities: Participates in the entire software development cycle - requirements analysis, design and development, unit testing and documentation Responsible for long-term code reusability and stability Proactively identifies security, usability etc. issues and formulates strategies to resolve them Works independently, without guidance, with broader overview on the project Takes ownership for the delivery of complex application features and resolves key technical issues related to the assigned project Complies with estimation process and is responsible for accurate personal estimates Develops required software features, achieving timely and quality delivery Delivers trainings and participates in knowledge sharing Mentors new software engineers in the team Integrates new technologies Understands and follows the release processes in the company Location: Pune Brand: Merkle Time Type: Full time Contract Type: Permanent
