Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer Location: Mumbai Experience Required: Minimum 1 Year Job Description: We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in providing technical support to end-users. The ideal candidate should be able to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: * Provide first-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals. * Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows 10/11) and essential software. * Troubleshoot hardware and software issues remotely and on-site. * Manage and troubleshoot user accounts, emails, and access-related issues. * Monitor system performance and escalate unresolved issues. * Maintain documentation of problems, solutions, and technical procedures. * Coordinate with vendors for hardware repair and warranty support. * Provide technical support during IT asset deployment or relocation. Required Skills: * Good understanding of Windows OS, MS Office, and basic networking. * Knowledge of remote desktop tools and ticketing systems. * Familiarity with antivirus, backup tools, and security practices. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to handle pressure and prioritize tasks. Qualifications: * Diploma or Degree in Computer Science / IT or relevant field. * 1+ year of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk role. * Certifications like CCNA, MCP, CompTIA A+ (preferred but not mandatory).
