Job Title: Design Engineer – Machinery Design Location: Bhuj, Kutchh, Gujarat Experience: 5+ years in mechanical design (preferably in machinery or related sectors) Education: B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Engineer to join our team in Bhuj, Gujarat. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in designing machinery components and systems, with proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. This role involves leading design projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that designs meet client specifications and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Design Development: Lead the design and development of mechanical components and systems for machinery, ensuring functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness. CAD Modeling: Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks to create detailed 2D and 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings. Prototyping and Testing: Oversee the creation of prototypes, conduct testing, and refine designs based on test results. Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, reports, and manuals. Team Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing, quality assurance, and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into designs. Qualifications: Education: B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.silex.co.in Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, with a strong background in machinery design. Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for 2D and 3D modeling. Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
