D2C Category Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Category Ownership:

    Own the performance and strategy of all pooja service categories across D2C channels.
  • Sales Growth:

    Scale revenue and conversion rates in India and the USA through product optimization, targeted offers, bundling, pricing, and campaign planning.
  • Platform Management:

    Manage and optimize our

    Shopify storefront

    , including listings, flows, subscriptions, and integrations with backend tools.
  • Customer Experience:

    Champion the end to end customer journey, ensuring a seamless experience for ritual bookings, feedback, and after service touchpoints.
  • Ads & Analytics:

    Work closely with performance marketing and SEO teams to run and optimize ad campaigns (Meta/Insta, Google, YouTube). Analyze funnel drop-offs, ROI, CAC, and CLTV.
  • Launch New Services:

    Collaborate with product and operations to bring new pooja formats, language preferences, or regional options to market based on customer insights.
  • Retention & Loyalty:

    Improve NPS, manage reviews, and set up rituals-based CRM flows for upsell, cross-sell, and repurchase behavior.

Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in D2C e-commerce, ideally scaling

    India + USA

    sales.
  • Hands-on experience with

    Shopify

    , including apps, automation, and A/B testing.
  • Strong grasp of

    performance marketing

    , ad analytics, and sales attribution.
  • Deep customer empathy with a proven ability to improve

    CX

    and

    NPS

    .
  • Experience with rituals, astrology, or spiritual products is a bonus, but respect for spiritual practice is essential.
  • Comfortable working in a lean, founder led, high ownership environment.

Nice to Haves

  • Prior experience selling spiritual/wellness products, services, or experiences.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (GA4, Meta Ads Manager, Shopify Reports, etc.).
  • Exposure to CRM platforms like Klaviyo, Drip, or ConvertKit.
  • Understanding of US-based Indian consumer sentiment and expectations.
