We are a fast-growing D2C skincare brand dedicated to redefining the self-care experience for today’s conscious consumers. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content Writer with a strong command of the English language and a passion for crafting compelling, SEO-optimized content for D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) brands. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in writing across various formats including website content, product descriptions, social media copy, emailers, and blogs primarily focused on lifestyle, skincare, wellness, or related D2C categories.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Write clear, engaging, and persuasive content for websites, landing pages, product pages, blogs, and social media platforms.
  • Create SEO-friendly content that aligns with keyword strategies and improves search engine rankings.
  • Develop impactful product descriptions tailored for various e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and brand websites.
  • Work closely with design, marketing, and e-commerce teams to ensure content consistency across all customer touchpoints.
  • Maintain brand voice and tone across all communication channels.
  • Research industry trends, customer behavior, and competitor strategies to inform content creation.
  • Proofread and edit content for grammar, clarity, and accuracy.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for new campaign ideas and content calendars.


Requirements:


  • Master’s degree in English Literature or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on content writing experience, preferably for D2C or e-commerce brands.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword placement, and content optimization.
  • Experience writing for skincare, wellness, fashion, or consumer lifestyle products is a plus.
  • Proficiency in tools like Google Docs, Grammarly, SurferSEO or Yoast, and basic knowledge of CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify).
  • Excellent editing, grammar, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Nice to Have:
  • Familiarity with performance marketing funnels.
  • Experience with UGC scripts, influencer copy, or email marketing content.
  • Understanding of e-commerce marketplaces and platform guidelines (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.).
