Civil Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Solar Land Acquisition Engineer to lead the identification, evaluation, and acquisition of suitable land for solar projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in land acquisition, solar project development, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify and evaluate potential land parcels for solar project development, considering factors such as:

- Land ownership and availability

- Topography and terrain

- Environmental and social impacts

- Access to transmission infrastructure

2. Conduct site visits and assessments to determine land suitability

3. Engage with landowners, local authorities, and other stakeholders to negotiate land acquisition

4. Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, local government officials, and community leaders

5. Conduct due diligence on land ownership and usage rights

6. Prepare and review land acquisition plans, reports, and other documents

7. Collaborate with internal teams, including project development, engineering, and construction

8. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or related field)

2. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in land acquisition, solar project development, or a related field

3. Strong knowledge of solar project development, land acquisition processes, and regulatory requirements

4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills

5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

7. Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as GIS and mapping software

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in Engineering or related field

2. Experience with solar project development, EPC, or O&M

3. Familiarity with Indian regulations and policies related to solar energy
