Civil Engineer For Road Work

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer to oversee and manage road construction and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge in highway design, road execution techniques, site management, and quality control standards. Key Responsibilities: Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of roads and highways. Conduct site surveys and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings). Supervise all stages of road works including earthwork, sub-base, base, and asphalt layers. Prepare and review project drawings, estimates, and technical specifications. Monitor progress and ensure that work is executed as per design, schedule, and budget. Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards at all times. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants on site. Maintain detailed daily project reports, including materials used, manpower deployed, and progress achieved. Conduct quality tests for materials like soil, aggregates, asphalt, and concrete. Handle billing, quantity estimation, and documentation as per contract requirements.
