In your role as Technical Offer and Order Manager, you are responsible you are responsible for end-to-end technical cable sourcing. This includes: • Technical review of sourcing requests from internal customers • Support internal customers to optimize their sourcing requests based on Supply Chain Partner capabilities • Review cable inquiries from customers and convert into cable sourcing request. • Perform technical clarifications with our Supply Chain Partners • Perform short circuit calculations with the calculation tool (Excel) to define the required wire screen/metal sheath size • Perform ampacity calculations with CYMCAP to define/verify conductor sizes • Perform drum length calculations with drum length calculation tool (Excel) • Check and accept technical data sheets from our Supply Chain Partners • Check and record prequalification and type test coverage of the cables offered by our suppliers. • Ensure that all documents which will be made available for external customers are in line with the Supply Chain Partner marketing strategy • Prepare Quality Control Plan and ITP together with our Supply Chain Partners to ensure • Prepare technical part of the contract • Review and accept Quality Records from suppliers • Witness in-process, routine and sample tests • Prepare type tests • Identify and drive improvements Education - Engineering degree preferably in electrical field. Job Summary We are looking for Electrical Engineers with System Study experience to undertake engineering design roles for projects in the Transmission and Distribution sector primarily in the UK and Middle East. Requirements In depth knowledge of conducting simulations and analytical studies for transmission and Distribution, Planning, load and generation interconnection, integration of renewables. Able to prepare simulation study models and carry out power system studies including but not limited to: Grid compliance studies for Wind, Solar, BESS and Hybrid projects. Steady state and Dynamic power flow analysis. Fault Ride Through studies. Short circuit calculation. Power quality analysis. Narmada Cement- Jafarabad Works was established in 1982 as Narmada Cement Company Limited and merged with UltraTech in 2006. The installed capacity of 1 MMTPA clinker has been gradually increased to 1.50 MMTPA (4,300 – 4,500 TPD). Cement capacity is 0.50 MMTPA (1,150 TPD). The Unit is ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007, ISMS 27001:2005 & SA 8000:2008 certified. It is India's first split location dry process cement plant with Fuller technology having four-stage suspension pre-heater, in-line flash calciner, reverse air bag house dust collector, vertical roller mills besides to be the first to unload imported South African coal at plant jetty. It transports 100% clinker to grinding units is in bulk by sea route. The special feature of this plant is 'Just in Time'design for raw mill circuit. As against conventional norms of 20,000 MT silo for raw meal storage it has 2,000 MT silo. The grinding units associated with Jafrabad Cement Works are Magdalla Cement Works having capacity of 0.80 MMTPA and Ratnagiri Cement Works having capacity of 0.50 MMTPA. All three coast-based split location units have Jetties for marine transportation. Narmada Cement was the prime supplier of fly ash based Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC) to Sardar Sarovar Dam on river Narmada, which is the World's second largest concrete gravity dam (by volume). We created a benchmark in Indian cement industry with installation of SF 3 X 6 cross bar cooler supplied by FLS, in record 41 days. With the hand holding of DuPont Sustainable Solutions, we are marching towards "Zero Accident" goal and articulating "Safety" as fundamental core belief with the theme "Life is precious, We care for it"as advocated by Shri O P Puranmalka, Business Director. Moving ahead in the safety journey, we achieved lost time injury frequency rate (LTIFR) 0.36 in the year 2013-14.
