Job Title: Casting Manager We are looking for a Casting Manager to join our talent management agency and spearhead opportunities for our roster of artists across films, OTT, advertising, and digital projects. This role is pivotal in building and maintaining strong relationships with casting directors, producers, and agencies to ensure our talent gets access to the best roles and opportunities. Key Responsibilities 1. Casting & Opportunity Generation • Develop and maintain strong relationships with casting directors, production houses, and advertising agencies. • Identify upcoming projects in films, OTT, ads, and digital films, ensuring our talent is considered for relevant roles. • Stay updated on casting trends, emerging filmmakers, and new production ventures to secure early access to potential projects. • Ensure proactive pitching of talent based on role suitability, managing auditions, look tests, and follow-ups. 2. Market Intelligence & Insights • Gather intel on upcoming projects, casting calls, and industry trends. • Build a robust database of casting directors, agencies, and production houses to track opportunities. • Provide regular updates to the talent management team on industry movements, upcoming projects, and audition status. 3. Talent Development & Strategy • Work closely with talent managers to align casting opportunities with an artist’s long-term career goals. • Provide insights on the positioning of talent in the market and recommend strategies to enhance their visibility and desirability for premium projects. • Guide talent on audition preparation, ensuring they present their best selves in every opportunity. 4. Creating & Expanding the Casting Vertical • Develop a structured approach for scouting and pitching talent. • Establish internal systems to streamline communication with casting professionals and manage auditions effectively. • Expand the vertical by identifying new revenue streams, collaborations, and potential partnerships in the casting ecosystem. Key Qualifications & Skills • 3+ years of experience in casting, talent management, or a related field within the entertainment industry. • A strong network of casting directors, filmmakers, and industry professionals. • Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills. • Ability to identify and assess talent suitability for roles across platforms. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously. • Passionate about the entertainment industry and a deep understanding of film, OTT, and advertising landscapes.
