Care Taker

Primary ResponsibilitiesPersonal Care: Assisting with daily activities like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Helping with mobility (e.g., walking, using wheelchairs or walkers). Feeding and monitoring dietary requirements. Medication Management: Administering prescribed medicines on time. Monitoring for side effects and notifying family/doctors if needed. Health Monitoring: Checking vital signs (blood pressure, sugar, temperature, etc.). Observing and reporting health changes to family or medical professionals. Companionship: Providing emotional support and engaging in conversation. Encouraging participation in hobbies, games, or light exercises. Household Support: Keeping the living area clean and safe. Assisting with light housekeeping like laundry and making the bed. Emergency Response: Recognizing warning signs of a medical emergency. Contacting emergency services or family members if necessary. Specific RequirementsQualifications: Basic literacy (reading/writing). Preferably certified in caregiving, nursing, or basic first aid (not mandatory but an advantage). Skills & Traits: Patience, empathy, and a calm demeanor. Good communication skills. Physical fitness for lifting or assisting the elder. Basic knowledge of hygiene and elder health needs. Experience: Prior experience in elder care is highly preferred. Knowledge of handling dementia, Alzheimer’s, or bedridden patients is an advantage. Background Check: Clean criminal record. Valid ID proof and address verification. Optional/Additional Duties (depending on client needs):Accompanying the elder to doctor’s visits. Preparing special meals as per diet chart. Helping with online video calls or basic tech use (for connected elders). Coordinating with family members or nurses for ongoing care plans.
