Capacity Planning Engineer

As a vital member of our team, your role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient execution of projects by closely monitoring progress, adjusting capacity plans, and proposing effective solutions to meet project milestones. Your contributions will be instrumental in optimizing resources, supporting recruitment efforts, and facilitating decision-making processes to uphold operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Capacity Planning and Replanning: Proactively manage and adjust capacity based on project priorities, trade capacity availability, workload plans, and potential risks. - Solution Proposals: Develop and present alternative solutions for capacity rearrangements to meet project milestones while minimizing disruption to hangar operations and future capacity plans. - Manpower Availability Support: Provide accurate data on manpower availability to the Resources Planning team for new business inquiries. - Collaborate closely with the Takt team and BM Managers to monitor and verify WIP project progress, assessing the need for capacity replanning. - Project future trade workload to support the BM Development Manager in human capital recruitment initiatives. Requirements: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in the aviation industry, with at least 3 years in Project Management, capacity planning, or operations analysis. - Proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods, capable of interpreting complex data sets to derive actionable insights. - Experience with capacity modeling tools or techniques to forecast resource requirements and optimize utilization. - Familiarity with software applications for capacity planning, project management, and data visualization (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power Platform, Tableau). - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under tight schedules. - A recognized university degree in Production or Industrial Engineering, Data Sciences, or related disciplines is preferred but not mandatory.
