Job Description

You are an experienced CAD Design Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling and drafting. Your main responsibility will be to create accurate and detailed CAD models while generating engineering drawings. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide technical support for prototype development. Additionally, you will conduct design reviews, perform modifications, and stay updated with the latest CAD modeling and prototyping technologies. Your qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in CAD modeling and prototype development using SolidWorks software. Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, knowledge of engineering principles, and experience with rapid prototyping techniques are required. Exposure to plastics and castings, as well as knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, will be advantageous. You should have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing tasks effectively. Experience in product design and development, knowledge of other CAD software like AutoCAD or CATIA, and familiarity with product data management, version control, and documentation will be beneficial. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for working effectively with cross-functional teams in the Water Treatment / Waste Management industry. This is a contract role in the Production, Manufacturing & Engineering department, where you will contribute to the design and development of innovative solutions to meet project deadlines and produce high-quality work.,
