CAD Design Data Specialist – Mechanical/Industrial Engineering

Job Overview:

SoftAge is looking to hire Mechanical or Industrial Engineers with CAD expertise to contribute to a high-impact AI training project for a global client. Engineers will use standard CAD tools to execute realistic design tasks, record design actions, and annotate processes for training AI foundation models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on mechanical and industrial design tasks using tools like Fusion 360 (F3D), SolidWorks, etc.
• Record all actions, design intent, and decisions in the required format during the design process.
• Evaluate existing CAD models and provide technical and/or aesthetic feedback as requested.
• Collaborate with internal leads and client team to follow task specifications accurately.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or Industrial Engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar platforms.
• Ability to create and modify 3D CAD models with clarity of design intent.
• Experience in documenting design workflows and decisions is preferred.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow structured tasks.
• Prior experience in design annotation or working in AI data environments is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Monthly Pay: 6LPA to 7.5LPA

Additional Information:

• All hired personnel must sign a confidentiality and invention assignment agreement approved by the client.
• This is an on-premise, project-based role.
• Performance and adherence to process quality will be closely monitored and audited.
