Location: Noida (Onsite) Department: Engineering Employment Type: 6 months contract (Full-time) Role Overview We are looking for a Python Developer with 23 years of hands-on experience in backend development. You’ll play a key role in building scalable APIs, integrating backend services, and supporting the core infrastructure of our event-tech platform. This is an onsite role based in Noida—ideal for someone who enjoys clean code, fast iteration cycles, and working closely with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend services using Python and web frameworks like Django or FastAPI Design and implement RESTful APIs for mobile and web apps Work with relational and NoSQL databases to manage and retrieve data efficiently Integrate third-party APIs, services, and internal microservices Implement secure authentication and authorization flows (JWT, OAuth, etc.) Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Collaborate with frontend and mobile teams to align backend functionalities Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and team discussions • Required Skills & Experience 2–3 years of backend development experience using Python Experience with at least one Python framework (Django, Flask, or FastAPI) Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration Working knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB Familiarity with Git and basic DevOps practices Understanding of authentication protocols like JWT/OAuth Ability to debug, test, and optimize code for performance Good to Have Experience with async Python and task queues (e.g., Celery, Redis) Basic knowledge of Docker and container-based deployments Exposure to cloud services (AWS, GCP, etc.) Experience with unit testing (e.g., PyTest) and API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI) Familiarity with Agile methodology and collaboration tools like Jira Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing setups Knowledge of basic frontend concepts for better API alignment
