Role & Responsibilities: Designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure backend systems using Django and Python. Building and optimizing RESTful APIs to power our web and mobile applications. Working closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Managing and optimizing database schemas and queries using Django. Implementing authentication, authorization, and security best practices. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving issues in existing applications. Contributing to code reviews and maintaining high code quality standards. Staying up-to-date with emerging industry trends, technologies, and best practices in backend development. Preferred Candidate Profile:. Proficiency in Python and Django Framework. Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development (Django REST Framework experience is highly preferred). Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM. Must be able to work on-site at our Thoothukudi office. Willingness to work night shifts to align with the US Eastern Time Zone (EST). Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
