Job Description

Hurak is a leading EdTech course marketplace that provides online and classroom-based compliance training in the UK. We have been in the industry for more than 12 years, and we are expanding our business to become a global brand. For that, we are currently looking for a Senior back End developer.


Position Title: Senior Back End Developer

Timing: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Job Type: Remote


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust server-side applications and APIs.
  • Optimize databases, server logic, and application performance.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver solutions.
  • Implement best practices for security, testing, and code quality.
  • Lead and mentor junior developers on the team.
  • Stay updated on backend trends and emerging technologies.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role.
  • Expertise in back-end frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Laravel, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices.
  • Proficiency with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with version control (Git) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Solid understanding of application security and performance optimization.
