Job Description

As a Business Development Manager specializing in B2B Sales within the exhibition industry, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth and enhancing exhibitor participation across a diverse range of trade shows and events. Your primary objective will be to oversee the complete sales cycle, commencing with lead identification and qualification, leading to deal closure, and fostering enduring client relationships. Your responsibilities will encompass various key areas, including proactive lead generation through in-person interactions, networking, and active participation in industry gatherings. Your role will also involve effectively showcasing the value proposition of our exhibitions to potential exhibitors to secure premium booth spaces. Furthermore, you will engage in negotiation processes to reach mutually beneficial agreements with clients and maintain robust client relationships by understanding their requirements and surpassing their expectations. To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in B2B sales, ideally within the exhibition industry or a related sector. Strong communication and presentation skills are vital for engaging with C-level executives and decision-makers confidently. Your adept negotiation and persuasion abilities will be crucial in finalizing deals and securing optimal booth contracts. A profound comprehension of the exhibition industry and current market trends will further enhance your effectiveness in this position. Your role will also involve staying abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market insights to shape informed sales strategies. Additionally, you will be responsible for generating accurate sales reports, analyzing data to monitor performance, and identifying areas for enhancement.
