Position: Data Engineer

Work Location: Kochi, Coimbatore, Chennai

Work Type: Hybrid Onsite, 3 days onsite every week

Skills & Responsibilities:

Data Engineering & Processing:

• Develop scalable data pipelines using Python and PySpark in Azure Databricks

• Work on data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and preparation for analytics.

Databricks & Azure Platform Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Databricks notebooks, Delta Lake, and working with structured and semi- structured data; MLFlow, use Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB for data processing and storage.

Programming Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation, automation, and orchestration tasks; familiarity with PySpark for distributed processing of large datasets.

CI/CD & DevOps:

• Use Azure DevOps for version control, automated testing, and pipeline-based deployments; follow coding standards and peer review processes.

Testing & Quality:

• Write and execute unit and validation tests for data pipelines; monitor job performance and troubleshoot data quality issues. Agile Collaboration:

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives; work closely with BAs, QAs, and architects to deliver high-quality solutions.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
