About the Role

Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain
automated data quality checks
using Soda Core or similar tools.
Integrate data quality validation into
ETL/ELT pipelines
(e.g., Airflow, dbt).
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to define
data quality SLAs and KPIs
.
Monitor data pipelines for anomalies, schema changes, and data drift.
Set up
alerting and reporting mechanisms
for data quality issues.
Contribute to the development of a
data observability framework
across the organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of experience in
data engineering, analytics engineering, or automation
.
Strong knowledge of
Soda Core
,
Great Expectations
, or other data quality tools.
Proficiency in
SQL
and
Python
.
Experience with
dbt
,
Airflow
, or similar orchestration tools.
Familiarity with
cloud data platforms
(Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.).
Understanding of
CI/CD practices
and version control (Git).

Nice to Have

Experience with
Monte Carlo
,
Anomalo
, or
SAS Viya
.
Exposure to
data governance
and
metadata management
.
Knowledge of
data cataloging tools
(e.g., Alation, Collibra).
