Audit Associate

Sajal Ashima & Co. is hiring a sharp, ambitious, and driven Audit Associate to join our growing team in Panchkula. If you're looking to build a strong foundation in audit and assurance, work with international clients, and gain exposure to global accounting standards, this opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities

1. Assist in end to end execution of statutory and internal audits for international and domestic clients.
2. Prepare, maintain, and review standardized audit workpapers in line with firm and global quality guidelines.
3. Perform substantive testing of financial statement areas (revenues, expenses, assets, liabilities) based on the audit program.
4. Document audit findings, observations, and conclusions clearly and accurately.
5. Stay updated with relevant IFRS/Ind AS developments and apply technical knowledge appropriately.
6. Collaborate with seniors and partners to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.
7. Communicate effectively with clients, both written and verbally, in a professional manner.
8. Work within deadlines and handle multiple engagements simultaneously.

Qualifications

• CA Inter / ACCA (Pursuing or Completed) / B.Com / M.Com
• Strong academic foundation in accounting, audit, and financial reporting
• Solid understanding of IFRS or willingness to build expertise quickly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and common audit tools/software
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a growth mindset
