Role Overview

Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive recruitment strategies for mid to senior-level roles across verticals (Tech, Sales, Product, Operations, etc.).
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower plans, job requirements, and organizational priorities.
  • Use innovative sourcing methods (Boolean, LinkedIn, social media, employee referrals, etc.) to identify the right talent.
  • Conduct HR screening, competency-based interviews, and ensure alignment with company culture.
  • Oversee and manage the performance of junior recruiters and hiring coordinators.
  • Manage recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire.
  • Maintain accurate hiring data and progress dashboards via ATS and Excel trackers.
  • Work closely with HRBPs to ensure smooth onboarding and pre-joining engagement.
  • Lead employer branding initiatives and drive proactive talent pipelining.
  • Ensure a seamless candidate experience from first contact through onboarding.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 6–8 years of end-to-end recruitment experience, preferably in BFSI, FinTech or from BPO
  • Proven experience managing diverse hiring mandates including  Sales,Collections,Underwriting and mid-management roles.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience mentoring and leading small recruitment teams.
  • High proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Excel-based dashboards.
  • Sound knowledge of sourcing techniques and recruitment best practices.
  • MBA/PGDM in HR or related field preferred.
