Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager Global Sourcing – Chemical at Ultra Chemical Works located in Thane. The role will involve managing sourcing activities, developing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, ensuring quality standards, and optimizing the supply chain for chemical products.

Qualifications

• Identifying and evaluating potential International and Domestic suppliers,
• Analysing market trends, and assessing supplier capabilities and risks. 
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Experience in global sourcing and supply chain management
• Knowledge of chemical industry regulations and compliance
• Make sure that company is partnered with the correct suppliers in the market to drive long term value
• Follow up with suppliers on regular basis to ensure shipment and delivery on promised dates
• Record price movements of key raw materials & finished goods
• Update supplier register daily to track raw material purchases

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, MBA
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
• Experience with international business practices is a plus
