Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of
pharma capital equipment machines
and tooling systems.
Prepare and review
3D models, assembly drawings, and part detailing
using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.
Manage
design projects
from concept to execution in line with pharma compliance and GMP standards.
Collaborate with production, quality, and procurement teams for design implementation.
Conduct
design validation, DFMEA, and tolerance analysis
.
Guide junior design engineers and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering.
5–8 years of experience in design of
pharma machinery
, preferably tablet press machines.
Strong command of CAD tools (SolidWorks/AutoCAD).
Knowledge of
GMP/cGMP norms, pharma regulatory standards
, and machine safety guidelines.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
