Accountant

We are a leading post-production company specializing in film, television, OTT, and advertising content. Our studio thrives on creativity, precision, and technical excellence. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage financial operations and ensure compliance within the dynamic world of post-production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks including data entry, billing, vendor payments, and reconciliation
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions (Tally or relevant software)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle GST, TDS, PF, ESI filings, and coordinate with CA firms when needed
• Track project budgets, monitor expense reports, and ensure timely billing to clients
• Maintain payroll records and support salary disbursement processes
• Liaise with producers, clients, and internal departments for financial documentation
• Manage petty cash and studio-level operational expenses
• Assist during internal and external audits

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–5 years of relevant experience (experience in a media/post-production environment is a plus)
• Proficient in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software
• Knowledge of taxation laws (GST, TDS, etc.)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced creative environment and handle multiple projects
• Attention to detail and integrity in managing financial data
