Web Application Developer

As a Web Application Firewall Engineer, you will leverage your strong background in cybersecurity to ensure the effective deployment, configuration, and maintenance of web application firewall systems for Global customers. Your responsibilities will include acting as the technical escalation point for junior engineers, leading deployment and management activities, and providing knowledge transfer and post-production support as necessary. You will be involved in user acceptance testing, bug-related engineering efforts, and maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops and obtaining top-tier vendor certifications. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience with WAF technologies, preferably Imperva, Akamai, or Cloudflare, and a total of 6+ years of broader IT security experience. Your expertise will be crucial in areas such as WAF security incident response, detection and analysis, CDN integration, vulnerability assessment, documentation, and reporting. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of security objectives and provide training on WAF best practices and security awareness. This position requires you to work from the office, providing 24/7 support as part of the team.
