Role Description

This is a remote role for a Video Editor with work from home flexibility. The Video Editor will be responsible for tasks such as video production, video editing, color grading, and incorporating motion graphics. Daily tasks will include editing video content, ensuring high-quality output, and collaborating with team members to meet project goals. This is a full-time/freelance role that requires a creative eye and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw video content into polished, engaging formats suitable for various platforms (Instagram Reels, YouTube, LinkedIn, ads, etc.).
• Design and animate motion graphics, transitions, and text overlays that align with brand aesthetics.
• Collaborate with creative leads, content writers, and marketers to understand video goals and adapt accordingly.
• Manage multiple video projects simultaneously and deliver on deadlines.
• Stay updated with trends in video editing, design aesthetics, and platform-specific content.
• Optimize videos for web performance, aspect ratios, and cross-platform use.
• Maintain an organized file management system for raw and final edits.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Strong understanding of motion graphics, animation principles, and visual storytelling.
• Experience with sound editing and color correction is a plus.
• Familiarity with different video formats, aspect ratios, and platform-specific requirements.
• A keen eye for detail, pacing, and music sync.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
