Job Description

As a Video Editor at our ad film production house, you will play a crucial role in creating compelling and impactful visual content for various advertising campaigns. Your primary responsibility will be to edit raw footage into polished, professional-quality videos that effectively convey the intended message to our target audience.


Salary: 25K to 30K per month


Key Responsibilities:


  • Editing: Seamlessly edit raw footage, ensuring smooth transitions, proper pacing, and visual coherence. Employ creative techniques to enhance the visual appeal and storytelling of each video.
  • Colour Grading: Enhance the overall look and feel of videos through colour correction and grading. Maintain consistency in colour tones and ensure that the visual aesthetics align with the brand identity and campaign objectives.
  • Audio Editing: Integrate audio elements such as music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance the impact of the videos. Ensure clear and balanced audio levels throughout the video.
  • Motion Graphics: Create and incorporate motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to add dynamism and visual interest to the videos. Collaborate with the design team to develop custom graphics that complement the narrative.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team, including directors, cinematographers, and producers, to understand project requirements and vision. Collaborate effectively to bring the creative vision to life while meeting deadlines and production standards.
  • Feedback and Revisions: Incorporate feedback from clients, stakeholders, and team members to refine and polish video projects. Iterate on edits until the final product meets the desired quality standards and exceeds expectations.
  • File Management: Organize and maintain a library of video assets, ensuring efficient file management and version control. Archive completed projects and assets for future reference and reuse.
  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in video editing and production. Continuously refine and enhance skills to deliver cutting-edge and innovative video content.


Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a video editor, preferably in an advertising agency or production house.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe After Effects Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Strong understanding of video production techniques, including editing, colour grading, and audio mixing.
  • Proficiency in motion graphics and visual effects software such as Adobe After Effects is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for storytelling through visual media.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
