US IT Recruiter

Key Responsibilities:

• Source candidates using job portals (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, Indeed), LinkedIn, social media, and internal databases.
• Screen and qualify candidates through phone calls or video interviews to assess technical skills, experience, and fit.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients, and follow up on feedback.
• Negotiate compensation and close candidates on W2, 1099, or C2C basis.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future requirements.
• Maintain applicant tracking systems (ATS) and ensure timely documentation of candidate interactions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with consultants and vendors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 1-5+ years of experience in US IT staffing and recruitment.
• Familiarity with various IT technologies and understanding of technical requirements (Java, .NET, AWS, DevOps, etc.).
• Experience working with US Citizens, Green Card holders, H1B, OPT, and EAD candidates.
• Proficiency in using job boards, Boolean search techniques, and applicant tracking systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a staffing agency environment.
• Prior experience working in night shifts / US time zones.
• Familiarity with VMS and direct client hiring models.
