Trainee- IT support

The IT-001 job position requires an individual with a Certification in Hardware & Networking to effectively configure, manage, and maintain various network devices like routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless access points. Your responsibilities will include monitoring network performance to ensure system availability and reliability. In case of any issues, performing network troubleshooting to diagnose and isolate common hardware and network problems will be essential. You will also be required to plan and implement network upgrades and patches with minimal disruption. Furthermore, you will be responsible for maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments, which include systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations. Implementing and managing network security protocols such as firewalls, anti-virus programs, and data encryption will be crucial to ensure data security and privacy regulations are met. Additionally, providing technical support and guidance to users and other IT staff members will be part of your day-to-day tasks. Documenting and keeping records of network configurations, changes, and procedures, as well as maintaining an inventory of IT assets, are also key responsibilities of this role. Collaboration with vendors and other IT personnel will be necessary for effective problem resolution. It is essential to have a good understanding of various operating systems like Windows, Linux, Mac, and MS Office, along with knowledge of LAN/WAN and TCP/IP Protocols. The ideal candidate for this position should possess good communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in an IT Support role will be beneficial.
