The Plastic Injection Moulding Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance of injection molds to ensure optimal performance and product quality. The role includes disassembling, cleaning, repairing, and reassembling injection molds used in plastic manufacturing. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on injection molds as per schedule. Disassemble, clean, polish, and reassemble molds using appropriate tools and equipment. Inspect molds for wear, damage, or defects and report issues to supervisors. Repair mold components such as cores, cavities, ejector pins, cooling channels, etc. Operate tool room equipment such as grinders, lathes, milling machines, and polishing tools.
