TGT – Science Teacher

Location: Vardhman International School
Reporting To: Academic Coordinator / Principal
Salary Range: ₹40,000 – ₹55,000 per month
Age Range: 30–45 years
Gender: Open (female preferred, if applicable)

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Science to Classes 6th to 8th, and occasionally assist with Classes 9th & 10th
• Create lesson plans aligned with CBSE curriculum and grade-level standards
• Deliver interactive and engaging science lessons through experiments and real-life examples
• Prepare assessments, conduct periodic evaluations, and maintain academic records
• Encourage students’ curiosity and problem-solving skills through inquiry-based learning
• Manage classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment
• Participate in school events, science fairs, and extracurricular activities
• Collaborate with fellow teachers for interdisciplinary projects and curriculum development
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress during PTMs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science with B.Ed. (mandatory)
• Minimum 2–3 years of classroom teaching experience in Science
• Sound subject knowledge and teaching methodology suitable for middle school
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with technology-enabled teaching (smart boards, digital tools)
