Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and persuasive Telecaller to join our admissions and outreach team. The Telecaller will play a vital role in connecting with prospective students, providing information about our academic programs, and supporting the admissions process through effective communication. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a customer-centric attitude, and the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation & Follow-Up

• Call prospective students and parents from the provided database or leads generated through campaigns.
• Follow up with interested candidates to share information, answer queries, and encourage enrollment.
• Maintain a daily call log and update the CRM system with accurate lead status and feedback.
• Provide detailed and accurate information about courses, admission criteria, fees, faculty, and facilities.
• Explain application procedures, deadlines, and scholarship opportunities if applicable.
• Address basic queries and escalate complex concerns to the admissions or academic team.

2. Conversion & Support

• Persuade potential candidates to take campus tours, attend counselling sessions, or complete their admission process.
• Schedule appointments for educational counsellors and coordinate follow-ups.
• Assist during open houses, webinars, and other promotional events as required.

3. Data & Record Management

• Keep a systematic and updated record of interactions, interested leads, and conversions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on outreach performance and follow-up status.

4. Collaboration

• Coordinate with the marketing and admissions team to align on promotional campaigns and messaging.
• Suggest improvements in telecalling scripts or lead handling strategies based on feedback.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent Communication: Clear, confident, and polite verbal communication in English and regional languages.
• Persuasion Skills: Ability to build interest and influence decisions positively over the phone.
• Listening & Problem-Solving: Strong listening skills and the ability to resolve basic concerns effectively.
• Computer Proficiency: Basic knowledge of MS Office, CRM tools, and lead tracking systems.
• Customer Service Orientation: Friendly, empathetic, and professional attitude.
• Time Management: Ability to handle a high volume of calls and follow-ups within tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or graduate degree in any discipline (Bachelor’s preferred).
• 5 years of telecalling, telesales, or customer service experience, preferably in education or service sectors.
• Fluency in English and at least one regional language.
• Experience with CRM software is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift

• Noida, Uttar Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
