Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a TEKLA Modeller located in Chennai. The TEKLA Modeller will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models using TEKLA software, ensuring accurate representation of steel components. Responsibilities include collaborating with engineers and architects to interpret design requirements, generating fabrication drawings, monitoring model accuracy, and making necessary adjustments. Daily tasks will involve understanding project specifications, updating TEKLA models, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and company protocols.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in TEKLA software and 3D modeling
• Strong understanding of structural steel detailing and fabrication drawings
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering design intent accurately
• Experience in producing detailed fabrication and erection drawings
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in steel construction
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant experience in infrastructure projects such as high-rise buildings, bridges, and industrial infrastructure is a plus
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
