SALES EXECUTIVE :Sarthak Metals Ltd.


Sarthak Metals Ltd (SML) is a specialized metallurgy company based out of Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. We are market leaders in specialized cored Wires solution for the Steel & foundry industry. Our products are used to increase recovery rates for various additives in the molten steel.


SML is now putting this expertise in the welding industry. The welding industry is a key vendor to all the infrastructure initiatives like steel fabrication, bridge building, road building, ship building, defense manufacturing & many more.


Sarthak Metals Limited, an ISO 9001:2015 certified company, established in 1995 and listed on BSE & NSE since 2017. Sarthak covers a large client base across India, providing the highest quality products to the top steel manufacturing companies in the country. Annual turnover is in FY 2023-24 is almost 300 Crores. We also involved in Export Business; last year, almost 30% of Export Business was done with strong manpower.


SML is part of the Des Raj Bansal Group which is a 50 year old group with more than 900 Crores in aggregate revenues across it’s 3 main entities, with a growth rate of 21% YoY. The main focus of Des Raj Bansal Group entities is Ferro Alloys Injection Technology & Sustainable Energy Solutions.



Job Summary


SML is building the Core Sales Team for distribution of it’s welding products. The core job of this role is to build the Dealer Network for Flux Cored Wire in the defined region along with strong customer relations with the actual end users. The Sales team will comprise of executives, regional sales managers and the Sales Head. The Sales Executive (hereinafter referred to as “SE”) will build new customer relationships within the defined region by identifying dealers and end users.

Flux Cored Welding Wire – Type of Welding Rod used for Continous welding process for bulk manufacturing.


Job Responsibility


  1. Identifying the end user stakeholders & from whom are they buying.
  2. Listing down the main competition in the region and their market share
  3. Identifying the key dealers to partner with for long term business relations
  4. Understanding the product profile of the dealer and how the same can be used to sell our product to the end users
  5. Understand the key customers of the dealer & demonstrate how our product is better suited to the dealer’s end consumers.
  6. Coordinate Trial orders of our product with the Dealers end users
  7. Get bulk orders from the dealers
  8. Projecting Sales for the region
  9. Coordination of supply to dealer from the factory.



Required Skills/Abilities:


  1. Excellent verbal communication skills
  2. Basic welding industry knowledge
  3. Workable knowledge of Excel & web browsing
  4. Problem solving attitude along with cheerful & positive attitude

Education and Experience:


  1. ITI graduate and above, Diploma holder.
  2. 2 years of experience in Marketing (Welding Industries)
