Position Overview: The Assistant Manager Technical Support (Geo) will be responsible for technical demonstrations, installations, and aftersales support of Geo Survey devices. The role requires strong technical acumen , handsm. on support experience , and regular travel across India to support dealers, clients, and key infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: Conduct installation, training, and demonstration of Total Stations, GNSS, Laser Scanners, and related Geo Survey equipment. Provide aftersales technical support to clients and channel partners, ensuring optimal usage and problem resolution. Extend technical support to the sales team by participating in client meetings, demos, and trade shows. Provide on-site troubleshooting and repair guidance where required. Offer remote assistance via phone, video calls, or online tools for client/dealer queries. Maintain detailed service records , client feedback logs, and support documentation. Coordinate with HO and R&D teams for updates, escalations, and new product knowledge. Frequent business travel across India to client/project sites, training sessions, and dealer support. Qualifications & Skills: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Electronics Engineering Minimum 5 years of technical support experience in GIS, Surveying Equipment, or related industries Working knowledge of AutoCAD / Autodesk is essential Strong communication and client-facing skills Willingness to travel extensively across India Ability to independently manage product installations and client training sessions Problem-solving approach with strong documentation skills.
