Job Description

Qualification: - Diploma in Mechanical With 1st class Boiler certification Job Purpose: To take responsibility for mechanical maintenance of the Boiler, ESP And Scrubber area , at Smelter 1 as we'll at Birla Copper, Dahej to maintain equipment health, and smooth plant operations. To ensure implementation of safety, environment norms. To monitor day to day activities and job execution at Boiler, ESP And Scrubber area To maintain and make ready spares for the rotating equipment like Pumps, Fans, gear boxes, Boiler area valves, Hammering devices, feeders, crushers etc To give tool box talk to the contractor workforce on daily basis. Should have deep understanding for the trouble shootings of rotary equipment. Should be able to lead team of contractual manpower. Coordination with operation and cross functional teams. Responsible for the Schedule preventive maintenance of the equipment. Should have skills for the overhauling of the rotary equipmets. Should be able to identify abnormalities in the area and execution skills to correct these abnormalities. Experience: 4-10 yrs in industry.
