Job Description

Job responsibilities:-

Inventory Management

Maintain proper records of incoming and outgoing materials.
Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders when required.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.

Material Receiving and Issuance

Verify incoming material against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery challans.
Ensure quality and quantity checks before accepting material.
Issue materials to production or other departments as per requirement with proper documentation.

Documentation and Record Keeping

Maintain GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), stock registers, issue slips, and return slips.
Ensure accurate data entry in ERP/software system.
File and store important documents like delivery notes, POs, and invoices.

Storage and Safety

Ensure proper storage of materials to avoid damage, deterioration, or loss.
Organize material using FIFO/LIFO methods as per company policy.
Maintain cleanliness, labeling, and systematic arrangement of stock.

Coordination and Communication

Coordinate with Purchase, Quality, Production, and Accounts departments.
Liaise with vendors and transporters regarding material delivery and discrepancies.
Communicate material availability and shortages proactively.

Compliance and Audit Support

Adhere to company policies, safety, and statutory norms.
Assist during internal or external audits and provide necessary documentation.

Team Management

Supervise store assistants or helpers, assign tasks, and ensure timely completion.
Train subordinates on store procedures and safety measures.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
