Job Description

Responsibilities:

Dealing with support escalations from Level 1 team, including complex user and monitoring support queries, with as minimal as possible escalations to L3 teams

Engage in ITIL\ Incident Management\ SLA\ Problem Management and Release Management Process on day-to-day operations

Planning and execution of proactive non-ticket tasks (such as automation or tool implementations)

Perform health checks twice a day

To create, update, amend relevant production support documentation

To use firm standard support tools and processes.

To provide weekend support or off business hours support, if needed.

Managing releases - deploy code/configuration change into the pre & production environments

To work as strong team player mentoring team

The duties of Senior Support Analysts can be broken into four distinct categories: prevention; correction; adaptation; and perfection.

Prevention relies on ensuring that hardware changes or additional modules do not interrupt an applications function.

Correction is the continual monitoring and fixing of issues that arise, including bug fixes.

Adaptation is the modification of applications to comply with new standards and new systems.

perfection is the improvement of application/infrastructure to enhance performance or reliability.

Skill set:

Required Experience 5-8 years of DotNet Developer with Application Support experience

Strong Debugging / Analytical skill

Public Cloud Azure experience (preferable)

Exposure to

Client-side JavaScript , HTML frameworks , CSS.

Server-side frameworks (MVC / IIS)

Scripting VB.Net , C#.NET, ASP.NET

Experience with WCF / Microservices / Rest services / Soap / XML

Exposure to database knowledge SQL

Windows server knowledge (preferable)

Knowledge on Finance / Banking domain (preferable)

Basic knowledge of code repository (git hub) and Jenkins

Knowledge of APM tools Control M , App Dynamics will be a add on

Knowledge of Service Now will be a add on

Working within ITIL standards and structured, formal environments - ITIL qualifications Beneficial
