Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Location: Ramgarh, Ranchi, Jharkhand
Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹60,000 per month

Experience Required: 5+ years in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a coal washery environment

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to oversee and manage the maintenance and operation of mechanical systems and equipment at our washery plant located in Ramgarh, Ranchi. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in handling mechanical systems in a coal washery, with strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily mechanical maintenance activities at the coal washery
• Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical issues promptly
• Ensure minimal equipment downtime and enhance operational efficiency
• Monitor the performance of mechanical equipment (e.g., crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps)
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards
• Coordinate with procurement for spare parts and inventory management
• Prepare reports on maintenance, repairs, and equipment performance
• Lead and guide a team of junior engineers and technicians

Requirements:

• Qualification: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance, with at least 2-3 years in a coal washery setup
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and equipment manuals
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems used in coal washing processes
• Good leadership, planning, and team coordination skills
• Familiarity with safety and statutory regulations in an industrial setup

Working Conditions:

• Location: On-site, Washery Plant at Ramgarh (Ranchi)
• 6-day working week
• Accommodation may be provided or arranged (optional)

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
