Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and supervise installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems (digesters, scrubbers, mixers, agitators, compressors, etc.).
• Operate and monitor bio gas generation, purification, and bottling processes and troubleshoot any mechanical issues.
• Ensure smooth functioning of piping networks, valves, gas flow meters, and safety systems.
• Prepare and maintain preventive maintenance schedules (PM) for mechanical equipment.
• Monitor performance of gas engines, generators, and flaring systems, and ensure operational efficiency.
• Work closely with electrical, civil, and instrumentation teams for integrated operations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations specific to bio gas operations.
• Maintain technical documentation, operation manuals, and maintenance logs.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase plant uptime and efficiency.
• Assist in procurement and quality inspection of mechanical components and spare parts.

Qualifications & Experience:

• B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute.
• 2–6 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in bio gas, waste-to-energy, or process plants.
• Hands-on experience in handling pumps, mixers, compressors, digesters, and other process equipment.
• Familiarity with bio gas purification and bottling systems is an added advantage.
