Position Overview

Engineer – O&M

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the performance of rooftop and ground-mounted solar power plants
• Conduct routine preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Troubleshoot system faults (inverters, modules, wiring, etc.)
• Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for service support and spare parts
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and statutory guidelines (CEA/MNRE)
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
• Support remote monitoring and site inspections

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• 1–4 years of hands-on experience in solar PV O&M
• Knowledge of inverters, SCADA systems, data loggers, and string-level monitoring
• Familiarity with thermography, IV curve tracing, and insulation resistance testing
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to travel within North Bengal

Preferred

• Experience in service coordination and AMC management
• Knowledge of safety audits and root cause analysis (RCA)
• Familiarity with O&M documentation and SLA tracking
