Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer at Synoptek, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing Web Applications using technologies such as .Net Core MVC, Angular, MSSQL, IIS, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS. With 2-4 years of experience in .NET Core, .NET C#, and Angular, you will demonstrate a strong understanding of HTML5, CSS, bootstrap, and JavaScript, including DOM manipulation. Your proficiency in common JavaScript libraries like jQuery and experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies, preferably using DevOps, will be essential for successful project delivery. Your role will involve translating business requirements into technical requirements, working with SQL and relational databases, including designing and developing stored procedures. You will be hands-on in coding UI, middle-tier, and back-end database programming based on defined standards to deliver high-quality business solutions. Proficient troubleshooting skills, familiarity with code versioning tools like TFS and Git, and writing unit test cases for required code coverage will be part of your daily tasks. You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with 2-4 years of position-specific experience in .NET Core, Angular, Azure services, and SQL Server. Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, and bootstrap, as well as familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps, will be advantageous. Working knowledge of OOPS concepts, NoSQL databases, and unit testing tools like Karma, Jasmine, and nUnit will also be beneficial.
