Site Supervisor

Job Description:
We are seeking a competent and proactive Site Supervisor Trainee to join our growing construction team in Ernakulam. The Site Supervisor Trainee will play a key role in overseeing ongoing construction projects, ensuring that all work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

This position is ideal for a motivated individual who is looking to build a career in construction site management and is willing to take responsibility and initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to project plans, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth flow of materials and equipment.
• Monitor project progress and workmanship, identifying any deviations and ensuring timely corrective action.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
• Prepare and submit daily site progress reports.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to communicate updates and resolve site-level issues.
• Manage onsite laborers and subcontractors for optimal productivity.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used, tools maintained, and personnel attendance.
• Use a two-wheeler for travel to and from the construction site.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Prior experience in a Site Supervisor or similar role is preferred.
• Sound knowledge of construction practices, safety standards, and materials.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Valid two-wheeler license and personal vehicle is mandatory.
