Site Incharge - Instrumentation Engineer

Job Title: Site Incharge – Instrumentation (Blast Furnace)

Education: B.Tech in Instrumentation / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (Mandatory)
Experience: Minimum 5 years in instrumentation works in steel plants or similar heavy industries

Job Description:

We are hiring an experienced Site Incharge – Instrumentation to lead and manage the instrumentation works at the Blast Furnace site of Bhilai Steel Plant. The candidate will be responsible for handling site execution, coordination, and commissioning of all instrumentation systems in compliance with project requirements and industry safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation systems related to the blast furnace
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Monitor progress and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and timeline targets
• Review technical drawings and ensure compliance with engineering standards
• Manage manpower allocation, resource planning, and contractor performance
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality protocols on site
• Maintain documentation and prepare daily/weekly progress reports

Requirements:

• B.Tech in Instrumentation / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (Must)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in large-scale industrial or steel plant instrumentation projects
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems used in blast furnace operations
• Familiarity with PLCs, DCS, field instruments, and control systems
• Proven leadership, site coordination, and communication skills
• Working knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance in industrial projects

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
