The primary responsibility is to ensure smooth functioning, upkeep, and technical support for high-fidelity simulators, mannequins, task trainers , and IT-based simulation software platforms used for medical training. Key Responsibilities: Installation, configuration, routine calibration, and troubleshooting of: Mannequins (low to high fidelity) Clinical simulators (laparoscopy, endoscopy, obstetric, etc.) Virtual simulation platforms and related IT hardware/software Perform daily pre-use checks and maintenance of simulation equipment. Ensure software updates, license management, and backups for simulators and IT systems. Coordinate with simulation vendors and OEMs for repairs, AMC/CMC, and technical support. Assist in the setup and technical operation of simulation sessions. Maintain detailed inventory and maintenance logs for all skill lab equipment. Ensure adherence to infection control and equipment hygiene protocols. Provide basic orientation to faculty and students on simulator use and functionality. Document and escalate equipment-related issues to higher authorities in a timely manner. Required Skills: Working knowledge of simulation equipment, medical mannequins, task trainers , and healthcare IT systems. Familiarity with network setup, system configuration , and software troubleshooting. Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with clinical and technical teams. Willingness to learn vendor-specific simulation platforms and tools. Strong documentation and report maintenance abilities. Eligibility: B.E. / B. Tech in Biomedical Engineering from a recognized institute. 0–3 years of relevant experience. Exposure to skill lab environments or simulation-based training systems will be an advantage.
