Key Responsibilities: Design and develop custom Shopify themes and templates. Customise and extend existing Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Integrate third-party applications and APIs to enhance store functionality. Optimise website performance, speed, and SEO. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Shopify stores. Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to implement user-friendly and responsive designs. Stay current with the latest Shopify updates, features, and best practices. Qualifications: Minimum 1 years experience as a Shopify Developer or similar role. Minimum Bachelor’s degree. Strong knowledge of Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with Shopify's ecosystem, including apps, themes, and API. Experience with e-commerce best practices and conversion optimization. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Knowledge of Shopify Plus and advanced features. Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop). Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles.
