Shift Supervisor - Injection Moulding

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Shift Production Supervisor to oversee our injection molding operations and ensure seamless production activities.

Job Summary:
The Shift Production Supervisor will manage and monitor daily production operations during their assigned shift, ensuring targets for quality, efficiency, and safety are met. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in injection molding and a strong ability to lead and motivate shopfloor teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee production activities during the assigned shift to meet daily and monthly targets.
• Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal utilization of equipment.
• Supervise shopfloor employees, providing guidance and resolving any on-site challenges.
• Conduct periodic quality checks to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
• Maintain production records, including shift reports, production logs, and downtime analysis.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for timely repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Train and develop shopfloor personnel to improve skill levels and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Plastics Engineering or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in injection molding operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of injection molding processes, tools, and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle production-related challenges efficiently.
• Familiarity with production planning tools and techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹19,568.19 - ₹29,066.66 per month
