Service Engineer- Weightbridge

We are looking for a field-oriented and technically skilled Service Engineer with an ITI or Diploma in Electronics to handle installation, calibration, servicing, and troubleshooting of weighbridge systems at various client sites. This role requires travel and hands-on work with electronic weighing systems, load cells, indicators, and related components.

Key Responsibilities:Installation & Commissioning:

• Install weighbridges, indicators, load cells, junction boxes, and related components at customer sites.
• Perform system calibration and ensure proper functionality and accuracy.
• Coordinate with civil and mechanical teams during installation phases.

Maintenance & Repair:

• Provide on-site servicing and preventive maintenance of weighbridge systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues in load cells, PCB boards, wiring, signal errors, etc.
• Replace faulty electronic components as per service requirements.

Customer Support:

• Attend breakdown calls promptly and resolve technical issues to ensure minimum downtime.
• Guide clients on the proper use, handling, and maintenance of weighbridge equipment.
• Provide basic operational training to customers.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain detailed service logs, installation reports, calibration certificates, and client feedback.
• Update the service database regularly with job status and site visit details.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Qualification: ITI (Electronics / Instrumentation) or Diploma in Electronics / Electrical.
• Experience: 0–3 years in service or maintenance of weighbridges, weighing machines, or industrial electronic systems.
• Basic knowledge of electronic components, soldering, wiring, and signal calibration.
• Familiarity with load cells, indicators, junction boxes, and weighing system logic.
• Ability to read simple circuit diagrams and wiring layouts.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively for service calls (local and outstation).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
